She has since spoken out about her time on My 600-lb Life and has cleared the air about her ex-husband's treatment of her while the show.
Who is Zsalynn?
Zsalynn Whitworth appeared on the second season of My 600-lb Life and it became evident that her husband, Garreth, was less than supportive of her journey.
She admitted while on the show that his sexual desires surrounded her being bigger than fat and he didn't want her to lose weight.
At the time the show aired, Whitworth weighed more than 600 lbs but she was committed to losing the weight despite her husband's efforts to stop her.
"I’m not buying you a salad,” he told her on the show. “If you want to eat grass, you can go in the garden and graze.”

During the episode, Whitworth admitted, "I realize I’ve been telling myself a lie — and that lie was killing me. Big can’t be beautiful when it means my daughter can’t have a mother."
Speaking about her husband, she added, "He has no idea how close to death I feel every day.”
Where is she now?
Since Zsalynn Whitworth was on My 600-lb Life, she has lost 300 lbs from her gastric bypass surgery and the removal of extra skin.
Her weight loss journey ultimately resulted in a divorce from her now ex-husband Garreth who was open about being against Whitworth's weight loss.
"(My husband) hasn’t found much good in my changes,” Whitworth said on a Where Are They Now? special. “It’s time for us to admit it’s over.”
Fans of the show questioned if Garreth was as awful in real life as he appeared to be on the show, but Whitworth said the reality was even worse.
"... To be honest, editing made (Garreth) look like an angel. It’s hard for me to speak for him. I feel like he loves me in the only way he knows how. I feel like I probably deserve a different kind of love. And maybe someday he can change or I can change."
Whitworth now lives in Texas with her daughter and has since moved on from her ex-husband.
She was reported to have started dating someone new in 2018, although it is unclear if the couple is still together.
